Does my website need to be live in all languages?

Xomio offers support for a wide range of languages, with a total of 19 languages currently available. By default, your website is set to display all 19 languages, but you have the flexibility to customize the language options according to your preferences.

It's important to note that when you remove languages from your website, the multi-language SEO functionality that we have integrated into your website using those pages will also be affected. This means that people searching online in those specific languages may have difficulty finding your website.

The available languages on Xomio are as follows: English, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), French (France), French (Canada), Italian, German, Polish, Russian, Korean, Turkish, Arabic, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), and Hebrew.


To change the languages visible on your website, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to your dashboard.
  2. Select the "Website" tab.
  3. Click on "Settings".
  4. Navigate to "Language Settings".

In the language settings, you have the option to choose the languages that you want to include on your website. You can select multiple languages or choose to display all available languages.

Additionally, in the language settings, you will find a "Default" field where you can set your default language. The default language is the language that users will automatically see when they land on your website.

By customizing the language settings, you can create a localized experience for your website visitors and cater to their language preferences.
